Tamer M. Alnajjar holds a master's degree in infrastructure engineering and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He has a proven track record in studying and developing infrastructure and the environment. Tamer's experience spans national and private companies, where he has significantly contributed to infrastructure projects, including developing and rehabilitating the wastewater and drinking water sectors.
His deep understanding of the challenges faced by communities in the region has been honed through his extensive work in these fields.
Tamer has a wealth of experience working with international NGOs. He served as a Projects Coordinator at the National Institute for Environment & Development (NIED) and as a Project Manager at the Sustainable Development Center (SDC) - Gaza University. His role as a Site Engineer at Masoud and Ali Contracting Company further enriched his practical experience. He has also been actively involved in shelter programming, livelihoods programming, and project monitoring and data collection.
During the war on Gaza in 2023, Tamer worked as a field project coordinator and manager, as well as a consultant for several international institutions and bodies. His involvement in these critical roles during such a challenging time highlights his ability to manage projects under pressure and deliver effective solutions in crisis situations.
Tamer has participated in numerous local and international scientific and research conferences, and he has completed various courses focused on community and environmental development. His comprehensive skill set includes strong communication, project management, presentation, time management, leadership, teamwork, organizing and evaluating projects, fundraising, and project writing.
